Few have had the opportunity to craft an Essential Mix throughout their careers, let alone three. As Marc Kinchen continues globetrotting to perform at high profile soirees including We Are FSTVL and Tomorrowland, one festival in particular signaled a landmark for the Detroit-bred producer: the inaugural Creamfields Ibiza. Though esteemed for his debut Essential Mix in 1995 and a modern-day followup in February 2014, Creamfields Ibiza marked MK’s first-ever live recorded Essential Mix. In celebration of Radio 1′s 20th birthday, Marc was joined by Steve Angello at the two-hour mix’s mid point – conjoining sensual house cuts with the Swede’s more progressive tendencies.
