Premiere: Juçara Marçal & Cadu Tenório – Anganga

The canvas painted upon in Anganga by Juçara Marçal & Cadu Tenório is non-existent. Like most musical releases, there is NO visual element, so inclusion of a (said) “canvas” seems immediately superfluous, but GENRE as the element of canvas here is exactly the idea, and Anganga negates any sort of genre. Not that this may be intentional or just purely avant in intention, but Juçara Marçal & Cadu Tenório know exactly what they’re doing in collaborative free-emotive sonics. Like how people take shape into adulthood, Anganga finds a form within exploration of self, Cadu Tenório sculpting shrills and thrills with electronics and fragility, and Juçara Marçal with vocal initiative and lyrical enlightenment (no matter how much I do and don’t understand the language being used). Thus, the canvas of Anganga rests within the listener’s minds-eye, lids shut, and guided by Juçara Marçal & Cadu Tenório. It’s a road we should all take in every piece of music, sitting down with what’s being presented, and thrown into a mirage of individual imagination. In Anganga, Juçara Marçal & Cadu Tenório boldly instigates creativity and initiates the willings’ start buttons. Press play below and within yourself, immediately:
