Demos recorded by ‘Trapped’ hitmaker Colonel Abrams are getting a release on Echovolt Records.

The 8-Track Tape Demos includes rough-and-ready versions of Abrams’ stomping early house jams ‘You Got Me Running’ and ‘Release The Tension’, which were written, arranged and produced by New Jersey producer Boyd Jarvis in DJ Timmy Regisford’s bedroom around 1984.

Check out a teaser of the three-track release, due soon on the Athens-based label. The release follows Echovolt’s recent reissue of three bedroom-recorded gems by Jarvis, including ‘Stomp’, which later became Visual’s ‘The Music Got Me’.
